In Conventional Mode, the gas is injected from the start at the programmed flow rate, which can increase its mechanical effect on the tissue but makes the technique somewhat more uncomfortable. In Comfort mode, the gas is injected gradually, in a ramp, where the professional can select a ramp time from 1 to 60 seconds for the flow rate to reach the programmed value. This gives the patient greater comfort during the application, since the gas enters more gently according to the selected ramp time.

The sensation of pain varies from patient to patient, but in general it may cause some discomfort, which can be resolved or reduced with the Comfort application mode and by combining it with the Soft Derm gas heating system.

Yes, the gas heating system (Soft Derm) is separate from the equipment, rather than internal, to ensure greater gas heating efficiency. It is a system sold as an option.
